![]() New Disappearing 9 Patch or Tossed 9 Patch made from my 12 step color wheel. Kit or pattern by Quilt in a Day is now available. I will add them to the web page later. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I used Benartex Gradation scraps for my versions of Caryl's Fibonacci design. I quilted the third one and used Robert Kaufman fabric for the backing. It has waves in it that makes it great for the backing. I am adding this fabric to the Robert Kaufman Sateen page. |
![]() ![]() Disappearing 9 Patch quilt top. This is made from the left over half square triangles from the Geese & Glitz quilt. I just keep adding to it and it is bigger than my design wall. This will probably be a gift for my niece when she graduate from college. So, I have two years to finish! |

| Crescendo - This is quilt made using one yard of Caryl Bryer Fallert Gradation plus other Benartex fabric for the borders. Pattern or kit is available on my Pattern Page. | Geese & Glitz - This quilt is made from 30 (9 X 44) pieces of Caryl Bryer Fallert Gradation Collection. The large flying geese are 12.5"X 6.5 " rectangle with two 6.5" squares sewed to the rectangle and then trimmed. When the Geese & Glitz quilt has been quilted add hot fix crystals to add the glitz. | If you sew twice you get another set of blocks when you trim. These 80 half square triangle can be then made into another quilt such as Disappearing Nine Patch or Tossed Nine Patch. Here are the three steps for this block. I have 16 block done but will be sometime before I get the top done as I must get back to dyeing fabric. |

Spinning Hexagon -Pattern by Caryl Bryer Fallert. I made another Spinning Hexagon in the Fall of 2004. It is the same pattern just not centered like the other one which makes it more of a art piece. I made another Spinning Hexagon out of Caryl's Gradation fabric. It takes 1/2 yard of Rainbow, 1/2 yard of Lapis Sunshine, 1/2 yard of Navy and 1/2 yard of Violet. I have decided to finish this one and hang in the booth. I am working on making a kit for it and will add it later. |

Dancing Tree - Pattern by Caryl Bryer Fallert. Pattern takes only one fat quarter of shibori
dyed fabric and a commercial black fabric that makes the tree and border in one
piece. The one in the middle I used black for the background and a piece of my swirl fabric for tree and border. Then, added iron on crystals to the background. The one on the right is made with Caryl's Splash fabric and black sateen with crystals added for the sparkle. I have several kits made up now with different colors of Caryl's Splash fabric and the kit includes 144 hot fix crystals.

High Tech Tucks quilt that I made for
our friend David Long, Image Graphics, Paducah, KY. The pattern is by Caryl
Bryer Fallert. Information on how she makes these pieced backgrounds are in the
new HTT CD. The CD contains a lot of photographs of her various versions of this
technique.
It was a thrill to get my picture made with Caryl while we were in Paducah this year. |
High Tech Tucks - Same pattern
but made a little larger, plus I added a small inter border. Another High Tech Tucks is my Hoffman Challenge quilt. It won viewer choice at a local quilt shop. |
